Let us come together for this healing work - it can be very powerful within ourselves but having the intention for Peace can allow it to pulse out into the world and reach those that need it most. At a time when our world is really hard, it can be powerful to come together to voice whatever we need to say out loud in a shared space and breathwork is a practice where we don’t need to put words to anything we are feeling - we are giving our body and system the permission to allow feelings and sensation to move through. This gives us the support we have within ourselves to continue to move through this time.
Breathwork is a powerful practice using active meditation, initiating an active and intentional rhythmic breathing pattern that can be used to help regulate the nervous system, decrease stress, encourage embodiment, and much more. Breathwork has the potential to bring a state of relaxation and elation, it can also support processing of any imbalances and emotions in the body. Breathwork is an ongoing practice that can help individuals on many levels but approach this practice with expectation that it may require more sessions and be used in combination with other modalities of healing work.
**Breathwork has the potential to cause a strong emotional release and create strong physical sensations. Individuals may need to seek out additional support from other health care providers, due to intensity of this practice, specifically very strong emotional response.
Please feel welcome to bring something to place onto the alter.
Bring a water bottle and any creature comforts for yourself, to make sure you are extra cozy (blankets, layers, etc.). We have limited yoga mats, blankets and bolsters. Please bring whatever will make you feel super comfortable.
You are welcome to bring a journal.
Please arrive a few minutes early to make sure you can get comfortable.
